Phinix Foundation was established to promote and create an open Internet of Things build in the spirit of Open Source. Most companies involved in development of IoT are using similar tools to achieve similar goals, to communicate all kind of devices all over the world. But by doing it separately, we are duplicating the the same work just a bit differently, creating by it many different standards and wasting resources that can be used to build something much bigger. Internet is based on openness, communication and cooperation and so is the Internet of Things. Instead of creating many incompatible systems lets create network.
